Role of lexical Consistency in Textual Coherence

Abstract

This paper discusses the issue of lexical consistency and its role in textual coherence through an analytical study of the verses of Monotheism , since lexical consistency is considered one of the most important and prominent element of textual coherence, and textual coherence is achieved by the lexical relationships between the vocabulary of the text , and these lexically connected elements lead to the continuity of meaning and the construction of  the basic idea of the text.
